  • Ginger is considered a superfood and it's no wonder! Ginger has been shown to help reduce feeling of nausea as well as reduce inflammation in the body. Evidence even suggests that drinking ginger tea at the onset of a cold could ease symptom intensity.

Instructions

  1. Add the ginger to the water.
  2. Immediately cover the saucepan and remove from heat.
  3. Allow the tea to steep for 7-10 minutes.
  4. Strain the ginger from the tea. (This works best with a small mesh strainer so that the tea can be poured immediately into a mug)
  5. Add a dash of lemon juice or a tiny bit of honey or agave if desired.
