Baked Apples
Spicy baked apples are the perfect dessert for the holiday season. This recipe has wholesome, natural ingredients, but you'd never know it from the taste.

apples
cleaned and cored and seeded

organic maple syrup

cinnamon
1/4
tsp
ground ginger
1/4
tsp
ground cloves
1/2
cup
quick oats
1/4
cup
raw walnuts
chopped
1
cup
water
boiled
Servings:
Instructions
Preheat the over to 350 degrees
In a medium bowl combine syrup, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, oats, and the walnuts.
Place the apples in a baking dish and fill with the mixture
Add the boiling water to the pan
Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the apples are tender but not mushy
Baste the baked apples in the pan juice several times before serving. Enjoy warm
